Antecedents for the Success of the Adoption of Organizational ERP Among Higher Education Institutions and Competitive Advantage in Egypt
Although the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
system has long been acknowledged in higher education
institutions (HEIs) to improve their performance and efficiency,
there are not many HEIs in Egypt that adopt ERP system and
those that do are in an early stage. The research on ERP system
in HEI is still limited and in the immature stage, hence little is
known about the success factors for the adoption stage of ERP
systems. Consequently, this article aims to understand what are
the success factors for ERP adoption and further develop a
conceptual model that explains the successful implementation of
ERP in HEIs and its impact on competitive advantage. Based on
previous studies, this paper identifies and conceptualizes success
factors for ERP and further develops the proposed model for the
adoption of ERP system in HEIs. This article contributes to the
development of the theoretical framework of the successful
implementation of the ERP system to explain the competitive
advantage of HEI by merging information system (IS) success
and diffusion of innovation (DOI) theories with the success
factors for the adoption stage of ERP systems. The current study
will provide recommendations and guidelines for both the
potential adopters and the vendors on the successful ERP system
adoption
Role of Resource-based View in Predicting ERP Perceived Value: Higher Education Perceptions
Higher education institutions (HEIs) nowadays focus on using strategic information systems as part of their digital strategy. An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system can help HEIs manage their resources and operations effectively to meet this challenge. Based on reviews, this study conceptualizes the influential ERP factors into the resource-capability configuration. A preliminary study on ERP among 40 HEIs in Egypt was carried out for the Egyptian HEIs to explore their perception of the ERP system as a new integrating tool for their value and advantage. The results revealed that a high percentage of HEIs had not yet adopted these systems, despite their positive attitude towards the value of ERP systems. They are still at the developing level because these systems have not yet been adopted. This study also helps to advance ERP concepts and provides practical verification in the context of higher education. Finally, this research guide HEIs to understand the ERP system's necessity as a strategic system proposing them to adopt ERP systems for their competitiveness.

The Impact Of Total Quality Management Practices On Employee's Work Related Attitude
This study examined the impact of TQM practices have on employee's work
related attitude. TQM practices have been adopted as new management practices in
improving organization commitment to quality of product or service. TQM practices
create a culture that encourages employee involvement, motivation, satisfaction and
commitment. In this study, the indicators of work related attitudes are job involvement,
job satisfaction, career satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study gathers
the information about the impact of TQM practices on 104 employees working in 5
organizations in Penang that practice TQM
The Necessity of Digital Technology in the Supply Chain Finance Network Based on Digital Integration
Modern enterprise information consultancy and management firms are evolving with a fresh paradigm. This model emphasizes primary businesses and oversees the capital, data, and logistical operations of small to medium-sized entities. It aims to transform unpredictable risks into manageable supply chain enterprise risks, ensuring the most minimal financial service risks. Additionally, supply chain finance offers a broad spectrum of financial solutions for businesses throughout the supply chain. As technology advances, this has given rise to a novel supply chain financial ecosystem. This network can effectively execute supply chain finance operations. Notably, supply chain finance is inherently a credit-based financing system. Conventional techniques fall short in addressing the trust issues within the financial network of supply chain finance. This study introduces a digital methodology for financial network scrutiny. Initially, computer systems are employed to probe the trustworthiness challenges of the financial network, segmenting indices based on the network's demands to mitigate interfering elements. Subsequently, these systems evaluate the financial trust impacts on the supply chain, establish a financial network blueprint, and undertake a holistic examination of the financial network outcomes. Simulations in MATLAB indicate that, when assessed under specific criteria, the digital technology's financial network trust in supply chain finance surpasses traditional approaches in network reliability

Telework Implementation Toward Virtual Organization In Malaysia.
Being a virtual organization is the ultimate achievement for some organizations. As the mammoth step, organizations in the country need to explore the possibilities of accepting and implementing their move in telework and subsequently to turn the organization into a
virtual working environment
Determinants Of Telecommuting Among Women Workers In Penang: A Case Study.
Telecommuting has been sought out from the women workers in Penang. This case study will identify the determinants that contribute to telecommuting acceptance among women workers. Interestingly, women workers did not indicate their acceptance toward the concept implementation. They will on consider telecommuting if they have to take care family matters. Therefore a huge efforts need to be carried out in making a paradigm change among women workers to accept the idea of telecommuting

Determinant Factors of Logistic Information Technology (LIT) Adoption by Logistic Service Providers ( LSPs) in Malaysia : A Review
Purpose- This paper aims to identify the determinant factors of Logistic Information Technology (LIT)Adoption by Logistic Service Providers (LSPs) in Malaysia. Many LSPs in Malaysia however have not realized the need to employ technology in their operations and haven’t implemented information technology and aligned their strategies with the changes in technology. Technology has been used as competitive tool to again competitive edge against competition and in most instances redesigning the
sales process. With these developments, efficiency in service delivery has been key in pushing many organisations towards implementation of computer systems. Logistic Information Technology is where LSPs implement various logistics systems is one of the technologies implemented towards improving service delivery. The purpose of this study is to understand factors affecting the implementation of LIT adoption by LSPs in Malaysia. This research was guided by TOE model in identifying factors determining LIT adoption by LSPs in Malaysia. PLS-SEM is used to analyse the relationship of each construct using the structural equation modeling. This research concludes a need for LSPs to further understand the importance of LIT and how it can shape their operations towards improving service delivery
Modelling Intention to Use ERP Systems among Higher Education Institutions in Egypt: UTAUT Perspective
Firms strive to achieve the sustainable competitive advantage in diverse and changing marketplaces. Coping with such circumstances has required firms to align information technology with business strategy in order to exploit their capabilities and change business practices. In this regard, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system has become increasingly important for organizations to build strong capabilities, improve operational performance, enhance business decision making and compete in a global business context. In other words, an ERP system integrates an organizations resources and also involves business processes and organizational changes. With the ubiquitous growth of IS investment, implementation of ERP systems has grown strongly. Recently, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have started to adopt ERP systems. An example is Egypt, where they have done so to increase their competitiveness in the global market. However, historically, ERP implementation has been shown to have a high failure rate, which is one of the main reasons users resist using the ERP system. Conversely, users acceptance of the ERP system is the key to the ERP implementation. Thus, this study attempts to find out the important factors that affect end users intention to use the ERP system during the pre-implementation phase of the ERP lifecycle in the higher education context. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with minor adjustments is the basis of this study. Ultimately, the findings of this research could enrich employees' experience by giving HEIs a tool for better understanding those factors affecting their ability to effectively utilize ERP systems. The proposed model has the ability to enhance the current level of the motivating factors influencing employees motivation to utilize ERP systems
